Did you know that the “Semana Nacional del Emprendedor” is the most important business and entrepreneurship event in Mexico, and the biggest in all of Latin America, organized by the country’s government and the Ministry of Economy through the National Entrepreneur Institute INADEM.
This grand event was held during September 2018, where the main idea was to provide a wide variety of solutions, tools, advice and financing to start a business or grow a micro, small or medium business.
During the event, various conferences and workshops were held to acquire, reinforce or improve different business and entrepreneurial skills. Figures such as Enrique Peña Nieto, Ricardo Salinas Pliego and Zev Siegl gave lectures, in addition to that there was a large number of speakers who gave talks, for example Rodrigo De Saro, founding partner of Osmos Cloud, with the theme: “The best technological tools for SMEs” where he talked about free tools for SMEs and entrepreneurs that can help in the growth of their businesses.
This year we had the honor and opportunity to participate as sponsors of the event and present our solution to the entrepreneurial community and SMEs along with world-class companies such as Go Daddy and eBay. Not only that, we also enjoyed the food truck area and took a break accompanied by great musical bands. To finish, and in case there was a little space left for dessert, there was a entrepreneurial market, where small businesses put on sale all kinds of products such as jewelry, mescal, coffee, ice cream and many other things.
During the five days we didn’t stop talking with students, entrepreneurs and business owners, each with their own doubts and needs. From the student who wanted to know a little more about our history, to business owners or entrepreneurs who wanted to know about our services.
The 2018 edition of the National Entrepreneur Week had a total of 125,000 participants, 62,000 women and 63,000 men.
Mexico is a booming country for entrepreneur, since it not only has the support of the Federal and Local Government, but also has the necessary tools to get your ideas moving with the support of the Entrepreneur Network created by INADEM.
